Out here on the prairie a breeze is a wind speed less than 20 mph--more than that it's just a little windy.  During storms, winds exceeding 40 mph are very common with bursts to 50 or 60 mph are a natural part of life.  Our current roof has served us well over the past 20 twenty years, however over the last 3 or 4 years we have spent considerable effort repairing and replacing shingles from wind damage.  To date, we have been very fortunate in that there has been only wind damage.  The possibility for water damage is just one storm away.

Our goal is to replace the roof with a new steel roof before winter returns to the prairie.  We are halfway to our goal of $40,000.00.  Your contribution can help us get the rest of the way there.
